The Northfield Electric Department  (NED) has approximately 1900 Northfield customers as well as some residing in Moretown and West Berlin.  If you live in Northfield and the NED system does not cover you, then you will be covered by Green Mountain Power (GMP) or the Washington Electric Co-op (WEC).

​

The Town of Northfield owns the electric department but relies on GMP for all  service work regarding line and meter maintenance.  If work is needed, please contact Customer Service Representative Bobbi Underhill at 485-5411 and she will take appropriate steps to correct the problem. 

 

If a problem occurs after regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.), the emergency number is 485-6060.
