The goals of the Northfield Energy Committee are:

  • To make recommendations for energy-saving measures and investments / measures which can save energy and money for families and the Town;

  • To inform Town residents and to organize the community around energy use reduction and renewable energy generation;

  • To use social media and other tools to increase public participation in decisions involving energy policy;

  • To pursue grants and donations for energy initiatives.

Projects and initiatives are vetted by other Town Commissions and comply with the spirit of the Town of Northfield as outlined in the Town Plan.
