Local Concerns Meeting Set for Rabbit Hollow Bridge Project

Northfield, VT – A Local Concerns Meeting for the project listed below will be held on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023, beginning at 7:00 PM in the Community Room at the Northfield Municipal Offices located at 51 South Main Street in Northfield, VT. The meeting will be held by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) and the Town of Northfield.

Town Highway Bridge Project

• NORTHFIELD BO CVBR(4) – Bridge 65 on TH 57 (Rabbit Hollow Road) over NECR and Dog River

The purpose of the meeting is to gather input from stakeholders, including Town Officials, residents and businesses, emergency services and other interested parties. During this meeting we will discuss the existing conditions of the bridge, site constraints, and options that should be considered in the scoping report. Please note that depending on the scope of work of the project, there may be an adverse effect to historic resources.

Representatives from both VTrans and the Town of Northfield will be available at the meeting to gather concerns about the project.
