FRIDAY, JULY 14, 2023 NORTHFIELD TOWN MANAGER’S FLOODING UPDATE

From the Northfield Town Manager:
Currently, Lovers Lane, the upper portion of Turkey Hill beyond Forest Ave. and Aseltine Road are closed to through traffic.

The Highway Foreman anticipates Lover’s Lane and Aseltline Road being repaired and open at the end of next week.

Turkey Hill should be fully open early next week.

Northfield’s water and sewer plants were not negatively impacted by the recent flooding.
The Water Department tested the municipal water supply earlier this week and the tests came back negative for any contamination.

As a result, the water supply is safe to drink and there is no need to boil water.
