The Town of Northfield will be conducting a Public Hearing on the proposed Municipal Plan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2009, in the Community Room located in the Brown Public Library (93 South Main Street).
The purpose of this hearing is to adopt the Municipal Plan that was developed by the Northfield Planning Commission. Specifically, the Municipal Plan addresses issues related to: Natural and Cultural Resources, Population, Housing, Economy, Transportation, Community Facilities and Services, Local Education, Energy, and Land Use.
Because of the population size of Northfield, this will be the first of two public hearings. The public is encouraged to attend.
The revised Municipal Plan is available for review at the Brown Public Library and at the Town Clerk's office.
