Safety Day 2008 will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. behind the Northfield Firehouse.

The Northfield Municipal Building will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2008 in observance of Independence Day.

Northfield Water Project Update. Blasting will take place in Northfield Falls by St. Jacob Orthodox Church on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 and Thursday, July 3, 2008. If you have any questions, please contact Superintendent of Public Works William Lyon at 485-6121.

Northfield Farmers' Market. Beginning May 20, 2008 and lasting through  late October, the Northfield Farmers' Market will be held on the Village Common every Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  For vendor information, please call Vern DuClos at 728-3602.

Burn Permits are required in the Town and Village of Northfield.  Contact a Fire Warden before you burn.  Call Fire Warden Brian Elwell (485-9036) or Assistant Fire Warden Michael Langley (279-3050)
