The Memorial Park Pool is scheduled to open on Saturday, June 22, 2013 and close on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Resident and non-resident season pool passes are available at the pool or at the Town Clerk's Office. Daily passes may only be purchased at the pool. The Northfield Town School District will hold an election by Australian Ballot on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Northfield High School. Please click here to view the warning.
The Vermont Agency of Transportation began its paving of Vermont Routes 12 and 12A in Northfield on April 30, 2013. The work is scheduled to be completed by early July. Please click here to view the latest work update.
The Town and Village of Northfield are requesting proposals for highway paving for the 2013/2014 fiscal year. Bid proposals are due by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. The Recreation Committee of Northfield is looking to fill two (2) open positions. Their meetings are held every 2nd Monday of the month. The Recreation Committee is in the process of looking into creating a town soccer field as well as fixing up the Falls fields and Memorial Park. Looking forward, the committee would like to hold fundraising events and create more recreational events for all ages.
